6 Months
Sleep: Miles still sleeps wonderful at night. I have started putting him upstairs in his crib to take naps now and he is doing pretty good. He doesn't always good down nicely for naps (he fights it, especially if we are out and about or even in the car now)
Best Moments: I sound like a tape recorder but everyday (even the ones where I want to pull my hair out) is the best moment. Miles brings so much joy into our lives. Words can not explain the over whelming love I have for this kid, he is my sunshine.
Worst Moments: Sunday (June 16)
Miles had gone poop and it was fairly hard. I told Brad I thought he might be constipated. Sure enough about an hour after that he was straining to go so bad that he was crying in pain (needless to say I started to cry with him). I took Miles to the Doc on Monday (everything else checked out fine) and Doc told us we could give him some juice to help (which it seemed to have helped A LOT) and he is feeling much better.
Eating: Miles is an eating machine!! He now drinking formula. I have had some mixed feelings about it...in a way it has been nice because he can hold the bottle himself and I am free to do things. However, it has also mad he a little sad too. I miss him being close to me and it also means my lil man is growing up. He's been eating cereal at dinner and has no problems eating it. Going to start introducing veggies soon!!!
Health: so blessed and thankful to have a healthy little boy
Teeth: still no sign of any teeth yet.
Things about Miles:
Still doesn't like to be on tummy a lot so rolling over hasn't really improved all that much.
fits into 6 month clothes except for his shorts...they fit but his legs are too short that they look like big pants on him.
still likes to play with his feet.
everything goes into the mouth
Always happy to see daddy after work.
Sits up by himself fairly well now
Can hold the bottle and feed himself
has outgrown his bath tub (need a new one pronto)
he loves splashing in the tub
likes to be held
not much for playing by himself while I try and do things
sweats like crazy (like mamma)
