 6 Months

Sleep: Miles still sleeps wonderful at night. I have started putting him upstairs in his crib to take naps now and he is doing pretty good. He doesn't always good down nicely for naps (he fights it, especially if we are out and about or even in the car now)

Best Moments: I sound like a tape recorder but everyday (even the ones where I want to pull my hair out) is the best moment. Miles brings so much joy into our lives. Words can not explain the over whelming love I have for this kid, he is my sunshine.

Worst Moments: Sunday (June 16)

Miles had gone poop and it was fairly hard. I told Brad I thought he might be constipated. Sure enough about an hour after that he was straining to go so bad that he was crying in pain (needless to say I started to cry with him). I took Miles to the Doc on Monday (everything else checked out fine) and Doc told us we could give him some juice to help (which it seemed to have helped A LOT) and he is feeling much better.

Eating: Miles is an eating machine!! He now drinking formula. I have had some mixed feelings about it...in a way it has been nice because he can hold the bottle himself and I am free to do things. However, it has also mad he a little sad too. I miss him being close to me and it also means my lil man is growing up. He's been eating cereal at dinner and has no problems eating it. Going to start introducing veggies soon!!!

Health: so blessed and thankful to have a healthy little boy

Teeth: still no sign of any teeth yet.

   

Things about Miles:

Still doesn't like to be on tummy a lot so rolling over hasn't really improved all that much. 

fits into 6 month clothes except for his shorts...they fit but his legs are too short that they look like big pants on him.

has outgrown his bath tub (need a new one pronto)

Milestones:

Sleep: Gosh this kid sleeps so well at night...even putting him down for bed is great! He usually goes right to sleep when I put him down and sleeps pretty much the whole night!

 

Best Moments: My daily smiles...I just love them!! Watching Miles grow and learn new things everyday is the best! 

My first Mother's Day...even though he was a big cranky butt I enjoyed spending the day with my boys...couldn't ask for anything better.

 

Worst Moments: Right now teething is the worst thing ever! Miles is Cranky. 

 

Eating: Still a great eater. We started introducing him to cereal. The first time was not great at all..he wanted nothing to do with it. Second time he did a little better but after awhile he wanted to real thing and didn't want it on a spoon anymore. Third time was a charm...he ate it all and I think most of it made to his stomach. 

 

Health: one healthy lil man and I am so thankful too 

 

Teeth: No teeth and I don't feel any either but they sure are bothering him lately.  

 

 

 Things about Miles:

 

Puts everything in his mouth now 

 

Rolled over a couple of time but nothing continual...loves to stand and is pretty good and keeping balanced.

 

Likes to people watch...gives them the "mean look"

 

Likes to watch dad...especially when he is cooking (maybe he will cook for me too)

 

farts smell horrible

 

Still in 3 month clothes

 

Likes taking naps with mommy

 

Like to be held and doesn't like it if he can't see mom. I have to put the pack and play in the kitchen so I can make dinner and he can see me.

4 months!!

Miles showing everyone how old he is.

Weight: 12.2 lbs

Milestones:

Sleep: Well Miles WAS sleeping about 8-10 hours straight but the last week and a half he decided he did not want to sleep that long for me anymore. Most nights he only gets up once or twice and usually goes right back to sleep for me.

Best Moments: As much as I am not a morning person, the mornings are the best because I love our snuggle time watching GMA and he is usually the happiest then too. However, nothing beats the day Brad made Miles giggle for the first time (made my heart melt) also watching him roll over for the first time today was pretty awesome too.

Worst Moments: When Miles is being a poopy pants, which is usually around 5-7pm (poor Brad has to come home to that) 

Eating: I feel like he is hungry all the time ha ha 

Health: He's one healthy lil man. Doctor gave him an A+ today 

Teeth: none but drools like crazy

       Things about Miles:

His hands are still his favorite thing to eat and likes his pacifier the most when he is tired.

Grabs and holds on to things like toys, our fingers, my hair, and he will hold his pacifier in his mouth most of the time.

Likes watching TV  (I blame Brad for this one)

Likes going for rides in the car.

Recognizes mom and dads voices.

Bath time is fun until he has to get out.

Likes to eat his toys. Drools a lot.

  

In 3 month clothes now. Socks never stay on his feet!!
